As Your food is the source from which

your body parts including your skin gets formed.

Now, if you are consuming wrong food for long time,

your skin naturally becomes susceptible to easily get ACNE.

It becomes difficult to treat your ACNE once it develops.

 

On the other hand, if you are consuming right kind of food for long term,

you can have a naturally healthy skin.

This skin will reduce your probability of developing ACNE.

And, even if you develop acne,

due to factors beyond your control like stress or pollution,

the treatment of your ACNE will be more effective.

When you are regularly consuming high glycemic food for long time,

it raises your insulin concentration (also known as chronic hyperinsulinemia).

It develops insulin resistance.

And increase the level of insulin like growth factor-1(IGF-1)

This process increases the turnover of your skin cells

It increases the oil production of the sebaceous glands in your skin and

It also prevents the separation of your skin cells completely

ALL THESE PROCESS LEADS TO DEVELOPMENT OF YOUR ACNE!

“What are high glycemic index foods?”

They are:

  • Refined sugar
  • Food like bread and cookies made out of white flour that is Maida and
  • White rice.
