Are You Suffering From Frequent Urinary Tract Infection?

Are you suffering from frequent urinary tract infection?

More than 50% of women suffer from

urinary tract infection at least

once in their life time. Not only that,

if you get a urinary tract infection once,

you have a probability of getting it again.

You may be having urinary tract infection if you

are suffering from:

  • Burning sensation during urinating
  • Constant urge to urinate even when your

bladder is empty.

  • Pain in your bladder (lower abdominal region)

Of course, whenever you develop urinary tract infection,

you consult a doctor and take the required treatment.

However, you can also reduce your chances of

getting frequent urinary tract infection by taking following measures-

  • Stay hydrated- You should drink at

least 2.5 to 3 litres of water per day. Especially in winter

we are not thirsty. So, we forget to drink water. It is better

you keep watch on your daily water intake.

  • Maintain hygiene- Go for pee in dry clean toilets. Avoid

using public toilets. Keep your private body part

dry and clean.

  • Take a bath after exercising- Doing exercise leads

to profuse sweating so, to keep your body

clean it is necessary to take bath after your exercise.

  • Do not hold your urge to pee- You may have a habit of

holding your pee due to over work load. If you

don’t empty your bladder on regular basis then this lead

to bacterial growth. So, attend to nature’s call immediately

when you get an urge.

Beside this, one more important thing you need to

rule out is your food allergy. Your food allergy can be

the cause of your recurrent urinary tract infection.

Urinary system filter waste from your blood. This waste

become urine and this urine is collected in your

bladder. If you are allergic to any food then it will irritate

your bladder.  In addition to well-known causes of allergy like

food additives, preservatives, taste enhancer, etc,

You can even be allergic to any normal food like

bajra, green leafy veggies, apple, papaya and so on. So, to find

out your food allergy you need to do-

Food Allergy Test.

Consult your dietitian to know how to eliminate the

food stuff to which you are allergic.
