Are you suffering from involuntary leaking of urine?
There are many reasons for involuntary leaking of urine, but
One of the reasons may be your habit of
drinking caffeinated drinks too frequently. So,
cut down your caffeine intake to reduce your irritation.
Why caffeine?
- Caffeine acts as irritant causing
difficulty in controlling your bladder muscles
- Caffeine also makes your body produce more urine.
What should you do?
You should avoid all foods which contains caffeine. Like-
- Caffeinated cold drinks
- Tea
- Coffee
- Chocolate
If you are having these things occasionally then it is
Ok. But, if you are having it too frequently, then
it may cause harm or may interfere in your
recovery if you are taking medicine for your
involuntary leaking of urine.
There are many other options instead of
tea and coffee. You can have home made
herbal tea, green tea etc. Instead of cold drink,
you can have butter milk or lemon water. In this
mango season you can have aam panha, which is not
only tasty but also nutritious. Make your choice
healthy. Choose your food wisely. However, if your
problem persists for more than a few weeks, consult
your urologist for their expert opinion.
