How to know if you have a Productive Cough?

You are suffering from Productive Cough if –

  • Lot of mucus present
  • On coughing, mucus from your lungs and your throat comes out

The reason for a productive cough is,

that your body is trying to expel mucus from your lung.

We never want to suppress this type of cough.

If we suppress this cough,

the cough will be trapped in your lungs and it may develop further complication.

For this reason, we want to help our body get the mucus out of our lungs

So, the strategy here is to thin the mucus

This will make it easy for our body to cough it out

Once the mucus is out of your lungs, the coughing must cease,

Because the reason for the coughing is no more present.

As you can see,

we are helping our body to do what it is trying to do

To gain back our  health

We are not trying to suppress it
