How to have a better sleep in 3 simple steps…..
Sleeping problem is very common now a day. Previously, it was
observed commonly in elderly, old age and now even in young children.
There can be various reasons for sleeping problem like-
- Insomnia
- Restlessness
- Sleep apnoea
- Aging
- Work load
- Stress, etc.
Not getting enough quality sleep can further
damage your health. So, it is very important to have quality sleep.
Let us see 3 simple, time tested & proven strategies for Better Sleep:
#1 No caffeine at least 6 hours before bed. Caffeine is present not only
in coffee, but also in some soft drinks, chocolates, shakes etc. Avoid all
these things if you want a good night sleep.
#2 Take your last meal 2-3 hours before your bed time. This helps the content
of your stomach to get digested and move further in small intestine. Sleeping
immediately after meal causes the content of your
stomach to reflux into esophagus, leading to acidity. It is must to
reduce such issues which disrupt your sleep.
#3 Limit your fluid intake 1-2 hrs before bedtime if you need
to wake up during night.
