By now you must be aware about the benefit of

vitamin C for your Immunity in current covid-19 pandemic.

Vitamin C act as an antioxidant. It helps you to

wash out free radicals (responsible for various

diseases) from your body. Thus, making your body

strong by increasing your immunity.

As a result, you must have started taking

lemon juice regularly. However,

both vitamin-C & sugar can enter your cells using

the same critical protein known as

glut-1 receptor. This glut-1 receptor has a preference for

glucose. This mean, that it will choose sugar over vitamin-C. This

poses a particular challenge for your white blood cells (WBC) which

are your defense cells. Your WBC need up to

50 times more vitamin-C within their cell walls than

in surrounding blood plasma to effectively handle

the effects of your oxidative stress.

What does this mean for you?

If you are taking your lemon juice with sugar in it, it

won’t be beneficial as it should. Instead,

just take pure & fresh lemon water without

sugar in it. Why Take naked calorie?

You can also grow your lemon plant in your kitchen garden.

While we are waiting for the vaccine for covid-19, the best

strategy is to boost your immune system.
